I like number 10 the most, though it's too plain on the right hand side.

You NEED to work on your text. The same font over and over looks shabby, work with patterns, strokes, glows, shadows and clipping masks as well as brushes and different fonts to get a nice look. Opacity also plays a key role as does colour.
